How your data is handled when you use this site or work with VladLABS, and the terms that cover confidentiality, IP, and how engagements run.

Privacy Policy

What data is collected, and why

This site collects the minimum needed to respond to inquiries and deliver the work.

  • Contact form: name, email, and project details you submit are sent via Formspree so I can reply.
  • Basic analytics: Google Analytics collects aggregate traffic data (pages visited, device/browser type) to understand how the site is used.
  • Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile verifies the contact form isn't being submitted by a bot. It doesn't collect personal data beyond the verification check itself.
  • Client portal: if you're an active client, project files and messages are stored in the client portal (hosted on Cloudflare) so we can collaborate on the work.

None of the above hand your project files or personal information to third parties beyond the infrastructure providers needed to run this site and the portal (Cloudflare, Formspree, Google Analytics) — none of them get access to the content of your files.

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for basic records. Client portal files and messages can be archived or permanently deleted on request at any time.

Terms of Service

How engagements work

Every project — CAD design, reverse engineering, DFM review, simulation, sourcing, or anything else offered here — is scoped and quoted individually. Deliverables, timeline, pricing, and ownership terms are agreed in writing before work starts, so what's below is the general baseline, not a substitute for that agreement.

  • Confidentiality & NDA: Client files, drawings, and project information are treated as confidential unless otherwise stated. A mutual NDA is available on request and can be signed before any sensitive files change hands.
  • Intellectual property: IP ownership and usage rights are honored according to the terms of each individual contract — this is agreed with each client before work begins, not applied as one blanket policy across all projects.
  • Payment: handled per the terms agreed for that specific project (quote, deposit, milestones).
  • Liability: work is carried out to professional engineering standards, but final designs should always be independently verified before committing to tooling or production — VladLABS isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of delivered designs.

These terms may be updated from time to time as the business evolves; the version on this page is always the current one.
